The Sam Day Buddy Run was one of those events that left many of us with an abundance of gratitude and inspiration. People were oozing with light, and the goodness in all of us poured out for a cause we all agree needs more energy and care.
Runners and their communities came through strong!
20 endurance runners came together for a 12-mile course in Cedar Mill, with finish line festivities at Terra Linda Park. Each runner raised funds for research while representing a kid with cancer. Four runners were parents who have lost their kids to cancer. One young man ran for his sister, and a father for his son as well as another kiddo in treatment now. The stories and support was abundant and we look forward to sharing the impact of these dollars in the coming months.
