37-Mile Challenge
Move yourself for 37 Miles in the month of September for childhood cancer!
37 was Sam's favorite number. Among all of the numbers between 1 and 100, Sam determined that #37 was the most forgotten and neglected number. For real. Well, SDF is focused on the forgotten childhood cancers - the ones that harm kids the most and don't receive adequate attention for developing more curative and less toxic treatments. Kids like Sam. Naturally, we claim #37 as a symbolic number. Since September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, a special energy emerges among people who want see change for kids with this unfortunate subset of cancers.
We walk, run, swim, cycle, skip, roll or whatever your preferred mode of movement is. The challenge is to get 37 miles (or equivlant) in during the month. We wear our t-shirts, we raise awareness, and we live well so kids with cancer can too!
In 2025, watch for opportunities to get your miles in with other SDF supporters!
